One clean idea per card, and the sound-dots show how many different sounds each letter or digraph makes.
Written and printed in Australia by an Aussie family, for classrooms and kitchen tables.

Every pack belongs to a colour-coded set — the flower on each card is coloured to its set, so a stray card always finds its way home.

How words are built and sentences are shaped.

All seven sets in one — 347 cards spanning every sound, word and rule from the alphabet to advanced code. Each set arrives in its own protective PVC case, posted to your door.
Every sound card carries a small cluster of dots in the corner. They’re not decoration — each dot stands for one sound that letter or digraph can make. One dot for sh, two for th, three for ch.
It’s a simple visual cue drawn straight from structured literacy: at a glance a child knows whether a grapheme makes a single sound or several, then turns the card over to meet each one with example words.
Browse the packsBloom Literacy Co. began with our own children and a simple wish: phonics resources that were as lovely to look at as they were effective to teach. Every pack is designed by hand in Australia, tested at home, and refined until each card earns its place. We think learning to read should feel like tending something that grows.
We print, hand-pack and post every order from Australia — and each pack comes in a clear PVC case that keeps the cards safe and waterproof.
Hand-packed and sent with care.
Every pack is packed by hand into a clear PVC case that keeps the cards safe and waterproof — so a spilt drink or a busy classroom won’t ruin them, and they stay tidy between lessons.
Each card is professionally printed on thick, durable cardstock and finished double-sided, so it stands up to real classrooms and busy kitchen tables.
Shipping is a flat $9.95 anywhere in Australia — and it’s free on orders over $75. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days and usually arrive in 3–7 business days with tracking. (Adjust these times in your store settings.)
For now we post within Australia. International shipping is on its way — email us if you’d like it sooner rather than later, it helps us know where to start.
Yes — that’s the Replant Promise. Next time you order any pack, tell us which cards have gone missing and we’ll print them and pop them in the box. Free, up to five cards an order. Every card is numbered on the back (like 12/46), so all we need is the pack name and the number.
If anything arrives damaged, we’ll replace it straight away — no fuss. Unopened packs can be returned within 30 days for a refund.
Cards go missing. They slip under car seats, get left on classroom floors, and disappear into couches. One lost card shouldn’t spoil a pack of forty-six.
So next time you order any pack, just tell us which cards have wandered off — and we’ll print them and pop them in the box with your order.
Every card is numbered on the back — like 12/46. Tell us the pack and the numbers, and that’s all we need.
Cards go missing. That’s not a risk, it’s a certainty — under desks, into tubs, home in a school bag. So the flower on every card is coloured to its set. Find a stray card on the floor, and the colour tells you which set it belongs to.
Each pack ships with a key card showing all seven, so the code lives in the box — not just on a website you saw once.
Since 2025, every Victorian government school has taught systematic synthetic phonics — a minimum of 25 minutes, every day, Prep to Grade 2. From 2026 the Year 1 Phonics Check is mandatory. NSW has screened every Year 1 student since 2021.
These cards were made for that. Not adapted for it.
Seven sets, from the alphabet through digraphs, vowel teams and advanced code to grammar and punctuation. Not a sample — the whole scope, in teaching order.
How many different sounds that grapheme makes, marked on the front. ea gets three — eat, head, steak. The ambiguity is on the card, before a child meets it in a book.
The irregular part marked in red, so children learn the tricky bit by heart and decode the rest — instead of memorising whole words on sight.
Forty-six cards of structured-literacy terminology — phoneme, grapheme, schwa, syllable types. For the teacher new to explicit instruction, or the CRT covering Year 1.
Cards go missing in classrooms. That is not a risk, it is a certainty — under desks, into tubs, home in a school bag and never seen again. With most resources that slowly turns a complete set into an unusable one.
Not here. Every card is numbered on the back. Tell us the pack and the number and we’ll print replacements and post them with your next order. Free, up to five cards an order, for as long as you’re a customer.
Victorian primary schools received transition funding specifically to buy phonics resources. If yours is still deciding how to spend it, we’re happy to quote.
A quote for your school, a question about which pack to start with, or a card that’s gone missing — whatever it is, a real person reads these.
